The hut is located in Ise-Shima National Park, in the town of Osatsu in Toba City, which has the largest population of Ama, female divers, in Japan. The view of Matoya Bay is exquisite, and visitors can see pearls, oysters and seaweed rafts. Using the special “Kamado” oven in the hut, visitors can enjoy seafood freshly captured by the Ama grilled over charcoal. While the Ama talk about their fishing experiences, guests can experience Ise-Shima Ama culture. This destination is very popular among foreign visitors.
