Saiku Heian Era Park is a reconstructed historical site of the palace of the Saio princesses who served Amaterasu Omikami, the goddess enshrined in Ise Jingu, on behalf of the emperor. The Main Pavilion, East Pavilion and West Pavilion were recreated according to archaeological evidence. This is one of the few venues where visitors can have the rare experience of what life was like back in the Heian Era for the Japanese people.
Convention(Conference) Facilities
The West Pavilion is equipped with air conditioning and can accommodate up to 60 people for a conference or a lecture meeting. The grounds in front of the Main Pavilion can accommodate approximately 150 people for a concert.
